Simon Ismail, Founder & Managing Director Simon brings over 20 years of property and finance experience and is active in all areas of the Salboy business. Simon joined the Fred Done business as a Director of Goldentree Financial Services Ltd. Under Simon’s management, Goldentree grew into one of the most reputable development funders in the UK. After success at Goldentree, Simon founded Salboy Limited with the backing of Fred, becoming one of the most dynamic lenders and developers in the North West of England, in just four years. Simon is also the director of Salboy International Limited and DOMIS Construction Limited. Relationships and the company ethos are the key drivers which Simon leads to ensure growth and reputation.
Phil Soon, Managing Director – Asia Originally from the UK, Phil brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in the real estate and finance sector, having worked for large corporations in both Manchester and overseas. Phil is the Managing Director of Salboy’s Asia division; headquartered in Hong Kong. Phil leads, manages and oversees all day to day operations in Asia. With the growth and success of Salboy to date, along with Phil’s passion in property development, he looks to further Salboy’s success and reach a broader clientele in the Asia market. With this additional establishment, Salboy aims to better service and meet the needs of new and recurrent overseas investors, largely in Hong Kong and wider South East Asia, at present.
Jeffrey Chan, Business Development Manager Having lived in the UK for over a decade, Jeffrey moved to Asia in 2006 to pursue opportunities in the Asian property market. Jeffrey has diverse experience working with leading real estate companies throughout Asia, including Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. During his time in Japan, he gained the ability to read and speak Japanese. Involved in international sales, Jeffrey is responsible for expanding the companies boundaries and establishing new relationships in Hong Kong and China.
Calvin Tse, Projects & Network Manager Calvin has over five years of experience in international property investment and has dealt with global markets including, UK, Thailand, Malaysia and Australia. He has worked for real estate giants Sotheby’s Realty and Landscope Christie’s International Real Estate. Having spent a year living in Manchester in 2017, Calvin is particularly familiar the city in which Salboy has a number of schemes. Calvin’s vast knowledge about the UK property market, accompanied by his international experience looks to further Salboy’s development sales and client relationships.
Michelle Ou, Marketing Manager Michelle is originally from the UK, though over the years, she has built up a rapport working in Asia for global organisations and in regional roles. With a strong creative outlook, accompanied by her adaptable and hands-on nature, Michelle has a diverse background which includes high profile event management, as well as B2B and B2C marketing and communications experience. Working in Asia has given her insights into Asian culture and an ability to appeal to eastern and western tastes in various forms of marketing, which will aid Salboy’s worldwide market reach.
